In the bustling streets of Fuzhou, the Floor Art Museum is like a brilliant star, peaceful and dazzling. It is not just a display of flooring, but also a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary artistic exploration journey. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the story behind it, we invited the founder of the art museum, Jiang Jiuxue, to have a meaningful conversation with him.
"Art should not be limited to a single field or culture," Jiang Jiuxue opened with a passionate gleam in his eyes.

I curiously asked, "How do you view cross-cultural and interdisciplinary artistic exploration?"
He replied, "Art knows no borders, it transcends language and cultural barriers, and is a universal language for humanity. Cross cultural and cross domain artistic exploration has opened up a new perspective for us, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of art in different cultures and fields."
This viewpoint reminds me of Nietzsche's famous saying: "Art is the buffer between us and the chaotic reality." Perhaps this is the core of the Jiangjiuxue Flooring Art Museum - art can connect everything and transcend everything.
I continued to ask, "So, could you share with us the original intention of founding this art museum?"
He took a deep breath and then said, "I have always believed that art should not be shelved, it should enter people's lives. Through this art museum, I hope to build a platform for cross-cultural and interdisciplinary art exchange for everyone."
This idea reminds me of ancient literati and scholars, who tasted tea and discussed poetry and art amidst mountains and rivers. Just like the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi wrote in his poem "A Song of the Pipa": "How much sorrow can I ask you? It's like a river flowing eastward." Perhaps the Flooring Art Museum is like this river flowing in people's lives, bringing new perspectives and feelings.
I further asked, "So, what do you think is the significance of this cross-cultural and interdisciplinary art exploration for artists and the public respectively?"
He replied, "For artists, this is an opportunity to break through and challenge themselves. They can gain new inspiration and create more diverse and diverse works of art through this platform. For the public, this is an opportunity to broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge."

This viewpoint reminds me of Leonardo da Vinci's famous saying: "Learning never ends, it only continues with the continuation of life." This is also the concept conveyed by the Jiangjiuxue Flooring Art Museum - in the exploration of art, we never stop.
Finally, I asked, "What are your expectations or visions for the future?"
He smiled and said, "My wish is to make this art museum a true art center, attracting artists and the public from all over the world to explore and share art together."
In the conversation with Jiang Jiuxue, I was deeply moved by this cross-cultural and interdisciplinary artistic exploration. In the flooring art museum, art is not only displayed, but also explored and shared. This may be the charm of the Jiangjiuxue Flooring Art Museum - it is an open art space, a platform for people to freely explore and share art.
